Elk Studios Secures Funding for Animation Services
Irish Animation Startup Receives US$500,000 Investment
elkStudios Ireland Ltd., a startup animation service studio, has announced that it has secured more than US$500,000 in funding from an undisclosed private investor.
The funding will be used to develop ideas and expand the studio's services, which include animation, character design, and storyboarding.
elkStudios was founded in 2017 by a team of experienced animators. The studio has already worked on several projects, including the short film "Frameworks," which had its world premiere at the Dublin Animation Film Festival.
The investment is a significant boost for the Irish animation industry, which has been growing rapidly in recent years. Ireland is home to a number of animation studios, including Cartoon Saloon, Brown Bag Films, and Boulder Media.
